Supportive care research from a rehabilitation perspective, focusing on non-pharmacological interventions for chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy
![]() | ![]() |
Chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN) is a side effect characterized by numbness and tingling in the hands and feet, which occurs after cancer drug treatment. Currently, there are no established treatments or prevention methods for this condition.
To address this, we are advancing research focused on non-pharmacological approaches to alleviate CIPN and are working to disseminate these methods to a larger number of patients. Additionally, we are consolidating evidence related to CIPN.

Research on supporting well-being using AI based on behavioral science
We are researching the use of AI to address the challenges of subjectivity when assessing individual symptoms, and developing foundational LLM models to achieve highly empathetic communication through generative AI.
